IRIS - Artificial Intelligence at the Service of Engineering - A Project 100% Internal to Egis

Generative AI as a daily support and assistance tool for professions, specifically tailored to your projects.

IRIS assists Egis employees in transforming their work methods by integrating AI to support the completion of time-consuming tasks without direct added value

IRIS comprises two components: Platform and Engine

Platform

IRIS is a platform accessible to any Egis employee. Platform enables the direct use of use cases developed by the IRIS team.

It is on Platform where users can find the use cases that address the major points of daily improvement for the teams.

Objet flou

engine

IRIS is conceived as a technological base freely accessible to each of the teams of Egis employees.

The IRIS team provides APIs for developers, enabling the integration of the IRIS engine into any initiative that could benefit from it.

IRIS Benefits

Collaborative

IRIS involves all professions and Business Lines in the co-creation of use cases. IRIS is a co-construction between technology and specific business challenges.

Evolving

IRIS continuously evolves to create use cases that are increasingly in line with the challenges encountered on a daily basis.

Linguistic Versatility

IRIS is functional in all languages spoken within the Egis group and its subsidiaries.

Adaptation to All Activities

All activities within the group will eventually be able to benefit from IRIS's Platform and Engine functionalities

Technology Sharing

Each team can integrate IRIS into its tools to develop its own use cases.

Engine enhances existing tools within the group, such as the Etag tool.

Behind IRIS

IRIS is built on the alliance between a cutting-edge technical team in AI and software development and Egis' own domain expertise.

Egis has incorporated tech talent through its acquisitions, and they are the ones driving the development of Engine and Platform.

The technical team is led by Anatole Parre and includes data scientists (Thomas Cerbelaud and Imad Bekkouche), as well as software developers (Zakaria Hadi and Philippe Sirvente).

The true value of generative AI lies in its alliance with concrete and specific business challenges.

The team responsible for the link with business units is led by Paul Lieberherr. They are supported by numerous stakeholders within the group who guide us in our developments. Other members are currently being recruited.

Egis is undergoing transformation through digital and artificial intelligence, particularly with the development of IRIS, a tool based on models like GPT. This innovation is at the core of our strategy to enhance our processes and deliver superior quality to our clients and employees, all while focusing on environmental challenges.

One last word

The goal of integrating technology profiles into the Egis group is to concretely assist all employees in their daily tasks. This is why we use new generative AI technologies, whose value lies for us in a very strong alliance with the business units. It is in the application of these technologies to concrete challenges that teams encounter daily that we will be able to derive the best uses from them. This is why IRIS is also designed as an engine accessible to all employees for all their tools that can benefit from relevant applications.
